Jeremiah 4 (a)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 4:1-4 KJV

1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

The abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy Place, where it ought not – that is the desolator, the false Christ – the worst abomination and apostasy that Christianity will ever know. (Mark 13:14 and Daniel 11 and 12)

You need to wake up and read the letter our Father has sent and be forewarned, so you don’t participate in those abominations.

He is such a loving Father that He warns us in advance.

2 And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

This is what we shall do if we know and follow the plan.

3 For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Work the ground well, don’t cast your seed out before swine. Don’t waste your time on people who could care less about God. You can tell when it’s not about God in their lives.

4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. (underline is mine)

(Medical circumcision is okay for health reasons, but not as a sacrifice to God. Jesus’ blood took the blood sacrifices away.)

This verse is talking of the circumcision of our hearts – both men and women.

(Jeremiah chapter 4 will continue in next post! Thanks for reading and comments are welcome!)
