Jeremiah 5 (c)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 5:20-22 KJV

Jeremiah chapter 5 – God wants us to Investigate!

20 Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

(the house of Jacob - means everyone, all 12 tribes, and their descendants. All. Everyone. Not just "the Jews, we need to realize who is who in God's word.)

21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:

Many cannot understand what God is saying to us. One thing to understand is that God is a jealous God. He loves us but we don’t care. Just like so many have been hurt by lovers who don’t really care – many are hurting God because they don’t take the time to care for Him.

God’s word makes this even clearer in the words He gave to the prophet Nahum:

Nahum 1:2 KJV – “God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth,” (two times for emphasis) “and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserves wrath for his enemies.”

Then in Nahum 1:3 we read that He “will not at all acquit the wicked”.

Sooooo many Christians have their heads deep in the sand, preaching that it’s all okay, Jesus loves us, lalalalala… please, please – READ GOD’S WORD!! He loves us – but only when we’re following His true ways! We can’t make up our own ways.

Did Jesus address this problem? Yes He did, Mark 7:9 – “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” KJV

Was Jesus speaking ONLY to the Pharisees and Saducees? No, just as in every verse of the Bible, there are onion skin layers – and the lessons, everything that is included there – is directed to US, to YOU! God wrote you a letter – are you going to read it?

22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

So many have absolutely no respect for God, despite all He does to protect us. Amazing things, like controlling the oceans of the world for our benefit… and much more. We just need to look around.

(This post – only 3 verses from the amazing book of Jeremiah, “he who God has appointed”. God says He knew Jeremiah before Jeremiah was in the womb of his mother…. Do you think God pre-knew YOU, as well? I think that if it worked that way for Jeremiah, it works that way for everyone. Think of it… God sent you here at this time and in this place – why? It just happened, random? No, no. God sent you here for a purpose at this time and in this place. Perhaps your purpose isn’t as high as Jeremiah’s… but there is a reason. Look into it! God will definitely reveal His purpose for you once you begin asking Him and start looking for what He has said about it. To you! And when you find out? Well, wow. That’s pretty much all I can say.) Jeremiah 5 (b)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 5:10-19 KJV

Jeremiah chapter 5 – God wants us to Investigate!

10 Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's.

Satan as antichrist will be here first, and will destroy many during that time. He will look good. Guard yourselves, know the true word so you can avoid being fooled. Read God’s true word!

(“but make not a full end” – once again, this is because there has always been a remnant carrying forth God’s true word who will be saved.)

11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.

Investigate the nations and investigate the churches. Who is teaching what? Does it really follow Scripture? You won’t know if you don’t read your Bible.

Who are Judah and Israel in our current time, do you know? Please read this post for the explanation:
https://dontbedeceived1.blogspot.com/2017/12/israel.html.

12 They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

Speaking of the lies, they don’t know the difference between what God has said and what Satan deceives people with.

The famine of the end time is not for food, but starvation for the true word of God!

See Amos 8:11: “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:”

So don’t be scared that we’ll all starve from lack of food – that’s not what will happen at all – as God tells us, the end time famine will be for hearing the words of the LORD. Look around. Are we getting close?

13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.

The prophets mentioned are the preachers and pastors who don’t really teach God’s true word, they are men speaking their own ideas. Read the word chapter by chapter and verse by verse, and learn the truth it speaks. Don’t let a one-verse Charlie pastor steal your inheritance. Go find the truth – it’s in the true word of God.

14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

“Because ye speak this word” means Satan’s word is being spoken, and the people who listen to it shall be burned up.

15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

The ancient nation is Babylon, which means “confusion”. Satan is the head of Babylon, and the master of confusion and deceit.

16 Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.

A sepulchre is a grave – this means they will mislead people who will die spiritually because they allowed themselves to be misled. They don’t know what God’s word says or means simply because they don’t study and check out what others say by reading His word.

17 And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.

“Eat up”, three times for emphasis. Gasoline is an example of foreign countries eating up our money, they are enjoying the profits that should be ours if we’d harvest our own oil.

18 Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you.

The remnant will always be with God, and they will broadcast the truth to the world, although many will not listen. There has always been a remnant carrying forth God’s true word.

19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

Unless we get smart and follow God’s ways, we will be serving other nations because we don’t understand how to run a nation under God.

(I hope you will read the next post - it will be published on Christmas day 2018 - and addresses the fact that our God is a jealous God, and discusses the harvest of mankind. Thanks for reading!)

Jeremiah 5 (a)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 5:1-9 KJV

Jeremiah chapter 5 has God asking us to Investigate. Go investigate your beliefs in light of what His word really says…

1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

2 And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely.

3 O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

They are so set in their ways that they will not return to God.

4 Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

5 I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.

They are deceived and have broken the bond with God.

6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

God says I fed them but they won’t listen, they are waiting to marry the wrong bridegroom, the antichrist, a god that is no god.

Christ will be returning wanting a virgin bride, but so many are misled by false teaching that He won’t find many who still have oil in their lamps.

We don’t want to be fooled into the shameful situation of worshipping the false Christ, the antichrist,  who will arrive on earth before Jesus to fool as many as he can before the Second Advent - the return of the True Christ.

8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

Speaking of messing around with false teaching and the false Christ.

9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

When He gives us so many things, our freedom and so many other blessings because our nation knows Christ, but then we drift away from it more and more – well, He’s going to allow us to be attacked by Satan. Look around at our nation… are we the God-trusting nation that we once were?

(In the next post we read about the famine of the end times, the confusion, about Satan's word being spoken instead of God's word. These are things we need to know about so that we don't get taken down!)

Jeremiah 4 (e)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 4:23-31 KJV

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

He destroyed the whole earth to make it void and without form. This is not Noah’s flood, but at the “katabole”, when Satan took 1/3 of God’s children, and God destroyed the earth, which previously had been created to be inhabited. (Isaiah 45:18).

There is an error in translation in Genesis 1:2 that says the earth “was” void and without form, but the actual Hebrew word is “became” void and without form. God made it that way so that He could then allow us to return to this earth in flesh bodies to live a lifetime and each make a choice between Him and Satan.

Fairness, all the way. Nobody will be able to complain about their “choice”.

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

He moved the mountains and destroyed the earth. See next verse – there was no man and there were no birds.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

It was destroyed, it was a wilderness.

He is going to do it again, see Hebrews 12:26-28.

Heb 12:26: “Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

If we are standing on the true Christ, then we cannot be shaken – but everything else will be shaken.

27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

He will not make a full end – this refers to the fact that HE is going to fight the war with Gog & Magog – but that happens after the Second Advent (a thousand years after, to be exact) and at that time, every bit of evil will be gone, and then new Jerusalem will descend to earth, all evil will be destroyed forever, and we who believed will be basking in the light of the glory of God.

I urge you to proceed right now to your Bible (King James version is best) and read from Revelation 20:4 to Revelation 21:8 – it is beautiful, wonderful and lovely.

As God always does on the important points – second witness is always found - you can also read the prophecies of this exact thing in Ezekiel 38:2-23; and again in Ezekiel 39:6-8.

We will become His Bride – all of us, male and female, as long as we have circumcised hearts.

28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

It’s done. He will not change His mind.

29 The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

30 And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

The birth of a new age, after the Second Advent, when Jesus returns to this earth and shows us that Satan pretending to be Him by sitting in the mercy seat in Jerusalem will fool a lot of people, but it will be all clearly seen as fake once Jesus arrives to wipe antichrist out forever. Many will be fooled at that time - please don't let it be you!

Cain was the first murderer, and Cain was the offspring of Satan. Satan wishes to murder your soul, even now. Don’t let him! Read and learn God’s word so you can be protected by understanding the key of David.

(This is the end of Jeremiah chapter 4. In Jeremiah chapter 5, we are urged to Investigate. I hope you will join me in learning what God wants us all to know.)

Jeremiah 4 (d)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 4:15-22 KJV

15 For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

They were the furthest north. Ezekiel 38 and 39 – don’t be misled about the danger to the nations, it will come from the north.

16 Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

The falseness and the false leadership that comes from other countries – we know what countries are actually working against God. Don’t get snared in the net of deception, know God’s word so you can be ready when you need to be ready.

17 As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.

God is not happy with the world situation, then or now. He’s saying we aren’t keeping the field (the world) the way we should be, we rebel against His authority. As we clearly see in our world governments, trying to take God’s name out of everything! That does not please Him – and it ruins our world.

18 Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

Those who won’t listen have brought the wickedness to themselves, it reaches into their hearts.

19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

When we know, when we understand, we want to awaken those around us – anybody who will listen – “there is a war coming, many will be destroyed, wake up, wake up!”

We hear the alarm and can no longer be quiet.

20 Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

Understand this, when Satan as antichrist comes to earth at the 6th trumpet pretending to be Jesus and sitting on the mercy seat in the temple at Jerusalem – at that time, suddenly, the temple is filthy and ruined.

Yes, Jesus will be coming soon after at the 7th trump, and will clean house, but not before Satan as antichrist has fooled many people with his cries of peace, peace, peace, and with his fly-away doctrine which is so untrue.

When Jesus comes and finds them spiritually “in bed” with Satan, and nursing along Satan’s lies…(giving suck)… woe to those people! Don’t be fooled! The antichrist will look good, but not to those who understand.

Once more I will say – don’t believe me, don’t believe any person – until you read it for yourself! Don’t allow yourself to be fooled.

21 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

The 6th trumpet being blown. Antichrist – 666. The 6th vial, the 6th seal, the 6th trump.

Not a tattoo on our forehead, but a knowledge (seal) in our minds – what not to be fooled by. See what God says about that in the next verse...

22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish* children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

(*sottish – from the Hebrew, means silly and foolish.)

Don’t be one of these people! Don’t be one who won’t know the One and Only True God. They have no knowledge because they won’t read the letter that God sent them.

They would rather listen to pastors and preachers who only share a tiny bit of the actual word of God. If your church isn’t teaching you chapter by chapter and verse by verse – why are you going to that church? The story is simple, once we read and understand it. And the most important thing to our lives, ever. More important than jobs, marriages, children, social lives – way more important. Give yourself into it, is my advice.

One really neat thing is that there are mysteries that God reveals to us, and we get so much peace. But He doesn’t reveal them to those who won’t look for them –

(we will continue with this lament for the miseries of Judah at end times in verse 23 very soon!)

Jeremiah 4 (c)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 4:10-14 KJV

10 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

God has never said that the wicked would have peace. However, in the book of Daniel, the false one comes here as antichrist with peace and prosperity, and will deceive many with his cries of peace, peace, peace.

We really need to be ready… it won’t be hard if you’re up to date on your Bible studies. God will protect His elect above all, so get on the boat now!

11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

It is an empty, dry, destroying wind, God is not in it. Where is the Living Water? Not mentioned here.

12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

God saying in this chapter that He wiped it all out once, at the “katabole”, and that He will do it again. Not to His people, but to all those who don’t hear Him.

I, personally, am finding it difficult that people don’t listen, won’t hear. We have all been impregnated with His Spirit, and that is why those people who don’t care to listen will not have a reason to complain at their treatment, at their finish. There are many who aren’t listening, don’t let that be you.

13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

Talking about Satan as antichrist at the end time – coming to earth first to pretend to be Jesus and fool as many as he can. He will look good! That is why many are deceived (spoiled). But only those who have not taken the time to read the Letter that God sent to each of us. God gives tons of strength to those who are listening.

14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

If we turn to God, to His word, and wash ourselves of wickedness through the blessing of our Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved. Pure & simple…

(to be continued)…

Jeremiah 4 (b)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 4:5-9 KJV

5 Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

This is the 7th trump! We will go into the defenced cities and be with Jesus, and all evil will be wiped out.

It is written, it will come to pass.

6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

The standard mentioned here is Christ.

Two separate wars, Hamangog for the northern tribes and Armageddon for the tribe of Judah.

God is fighting these wars, not us. Ezekiel 38 and 39.

7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

The destroyer (the antichrist) will take over. There will be no Christians in that land.

8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.

He is not angry at those who do their best to please Him, follow Him and trust in Him. He is angry at those who don’t care about Him. We who trust Him are not the objects of His anger, but those who deny Him are.

A great example of this is Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – after they’d been thrown into the fire heated 7 times hotter than usual, Nebuchadnezzar looked into the furnace and said, “we threw 3 men into the furnace, but I see 4 men! One of them is the Son of God”.

Now listen up – their clothes and even their hair was not even singed by that fire!

At the end time, in fact, at any time – we do not have to worry if we are following and trusting Him.

9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

Speaking of the false kings, princes, priests and prophets. They will be so shocked.

(There is so much flavor and fantastic knowledge in these verses – and it continues into verse 10 and beyond! Be sure to come back and check out the rest of Jeremiah 4. Never forget that God speaks to us through His prophets…. and we just have to listen if we want the most blessed and peaceful lives – even when there is destruction happening all around us.)

Jeremiah 4 (a)

The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 4:1-4 KJV

1 If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

The abomination spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy Place, where it ought not – that is the desolator, the false Christ – the worst abomination and apostasy that Christianity will ever know. (Mark 13:14 and Daniel 11 and 12)

You need to wake up and read the letter our Father has sent and be forewarned, so you don’t participate in those abominations.

He is such a loving Father that He warns us in advance.

2 And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

This is what we shall do if we know and follow the plan.

3 For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Work the ground well, don’t cast your seed out before swine. Don’t waste your time on people who could care less about God. You can tell when it’s not about God in their lives.

4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. (underline is mine)

(Medical circumcision is okay for health reasons, but not as a sacrifice to God. Jesus’ blood took the blood sacrifices away.)

This verse is talking of the circumcision of our hearts – both men and women.

(Jeremiah chapter 4 will continue in next post! Thanks for reading and comments are welcome!)

Jeremiah – Jeremiah 3 (d)

The book of Jeremiah - chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 3:18-25 KJV

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Right now, the house of Judah and the 10 northern tribes of Israel are split, but then they will be together, accepting their inheritance.

That’s how we know that Jeremiah is speaking of end times here, because Judah and Israel have not been together since the tribes of Israel were taken captive by the Assyrian, 200 years before Judah was taken into a 70-year captivity to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar.

You can read of this gathering back in Ezekiel 37 when God tells Ezekiel to preach to the bones – meaning those who are spiritually dead.

Who is Israel? Nobody really knows, they are the “lost tribes”… except that God has not lost them – He made sure that after they had multiplied greatly while in Assyrian captivity they were scattered throughout the world. No country wanted them because there were so many, even way back then.

Now if we can add 2 + 2, we know they didn’t “die off” or anything. They are the lost tribes, the blessed remnant, now the Christians of the world. Grab on to your inheritance, people!

19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

This is what we do in order to inherit everything good from our Father… (underline is mine). God asks how He can do it, and then answers...for our edification and understanding.

20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.

We have committed spiritual adultery… We can save ourselves from that if we know the book of Revelation and know that the false Christ comes first. We must be spiritual virgins when the true bridegroom arrives here on earth.

God expects His true bride (us) to stand against that false one and those false teachings!

21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.

22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

IF we repent, all those sins we’ve piled up are completely erased. (IF – the biggest little word that God uses over and over again in His word.) But, we can work on changing... sometimes it's a little slow but once it starts happening - it gets easier and easier.

23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

24 For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

These have been stolen by false teachings: our labour, our children and our rich heritage – all the way back to the book of Chronicles you will find the Kenites (offspring of Cain) already keeping records as scribes for the kings. (1 Chronicles 2:55).

However, there is a remnant, there is always a remnant as God promised, who carry forward His true word. We have no excuse for not knowing and understanding.

25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.

Here is how easily falseness and confusion can slip in – the word “Easter” is used one time in the Bible, in the book of Acts, and is a mistranslated word. The real word in the original manuscripts was “pascal”, Passover.

Passover is the high holy day of Christianity, and “Ishtar” is a pagan goddess, to whom heathen nations rolled eggs as a fertility rite, and did “grove worship”, holding orgies in the groves of the mountains.

And yet God told us in Exodus 12 that we are to celebrate Passover “for ever”. But we left it behind for a pagan goddess and weird worship rites. Sad. We could have looked the word Easter up in a dictionary and known the truth.

Exodus 12 is God’s direct description of Passover… read that chapter to understand the truth about what GOD wants.

The following verses in Exodus 12 tell us clearly that God expects us to celebrate Passover “for ever”:

Ex 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Ex 12:17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

Ex 12:24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. KJV

(underlines are mine). Jeremiah chapter 4 will be next. :)

Jeremiah – Jeremiah 3 (c)

The book of Jeremiah - chapter by chapter and verse by verse

Jeremiah 3:12-17 KJV

12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

What a loving Father we have. He will forgive us and be merciful, when we repent. See next verse! He makes it clear that we must repent to receive His mercy. There is a requirement for what we must do.

13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

Important! Important! “acknowledge thine iniquity” – means we have to do something, right?

When you repent totally, He forgives totally. And He forgets about it, forever. But you must acknowledge your sins and repent of them. It’s not automatic.

14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

He gives us what we need, as soon as we go looking for it! Solid understanding, no believing this and believing that, but a solid rock of the full truth! He showers us with that latter rain, when we follow Him in truth and understanding.

He will guide, direct and bless, it’s that simple. We need to put skin in the game.

16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

After God sets His dwelling in Jerusalem, He will be there. That is why we will be there, gathered to it, gathered to the name of the LORD, and there will be no evil.

Jeremiah - Jeremiah 3 (b)

The book of Jeremiah - chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 3:4-11 KJV

4 Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?

Jeremiah is asking God to talk to him despite all the idol worship described in the first three verses of this chapter.

5 Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.

Jeremiah is asking us now as well as the people of his day whether we’re going to keep being evil and take the chance that God will reserve His anger forever.

6 The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

Remember that Jeremiah is a prophet of the tribe of Judah…there are still the tribes of Israel out there, and God is asking the tribe of Judah if they’ve seen all the backsliding their sister tribes of Israel had committed, and if they’d seen her play the harlot against God (worshipping idols in the groves instead of worshipping God).

7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

God asked Israel to come back to Him, but she didn't. From this verse we know the tribe of Judah saw this treachery on the part of Israel.

8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Here we learn that God had given Israel a bill of divorce, and even though her sister tribe Judah had seen that, Judah went and worshipped idols also.

9 And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

She (Judah and her sister Israel) made a false religion of anything and everything. It pisses God off. There’s no better way to say it.

10 And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

Faking love for God will never work. You either love Him and follow Him wholeheartedly or you’re in trouble. There’s no faking it.

11 And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

(stay tuned for verses 12 through 25). :)

Jeremiah – Jeremiah 3 (a)

The book of Jeremiah - chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 3:1-3 KJV

Jer 3:1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

The whole idea is gross in the flesh, how much more awful is it to do this to God?

2 Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

How is this particular verse super important to us living in these days? What is the High Holy Day of Christianity? It is Passover. But in the book of Acts, a scribe mis-translated the Greek word “pascha” which means the Passover, to Ishtar (Easter) and unfortunately it was carried through to our English translations. Easter is a heathen term derived from the Saxon “goddess of fertility”, Eastre, the same as Astarte, the Syrian Venus, called Ashtaroth in the O.T.

Jesus became our Passover. (1 Cor. 5:7), yet we say we are celebrating His resurrection on Easter, which came to us via a false fertility “goddess” named Ishtar. She is a false goddess of the Philistines, the Phoenicians and the Zidonians. Do you know how these heathen nations worshipped this so-called goddess? By going up into the groves, rolling eggs and having sexual orgies for fertility rites, to a false “fertility goddess”.

So now we have little children hunting eggs, and carrying baskets, and going out into the groves, so to speak, for “Easter”, yet that is Ishtar, false goddess of fertility, a made-up idol.

Instead of celebrating Jesus as our Passover, we do Easter. It is not right but the holiday is so ingrained into our culture that people freak out at the thought of not celebrating “Easter”, a false fertility goddess, but instead celebrating the Passover, our Lord Jesus Christ.

How upset is God about this? I will share just one reference, Judges 2:12-14: (underline is mine)

Judges 2:12-14 - 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. 13 And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. 14 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

“They could not any longer stand before their enemies”… when the antichrist is here and sees people worshipping to a false goddess via the supposedly holy Easter celebration, he’ll be happy. God will be angry. If we wake up and think about this, and do some more study about Ashtaroth, we find Ahab (the seventh king of Israel) and Jezebel his wife, some of the most horrible royalty of Israel ever, worshipping Ashtaroth, and Elijah showing them the truth, causing hundreds of their false priests to be put to death. And when Jesus returns and says, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”, (Matthew 7:23) you will know that staying with the traditions of men instead of giving up that Easter service and egg rolling which you now know is wrong, wasn’t worth it.

I refer you to Matthew 7:13-29 to hear Jesus’ take on those who worship falsely.

Micah 5:10-15 shows God destroying the “groves” again, and there are many, many references throughout the Bible where God is angry about the groves and the grove worship. Let’s be warned, let’s change our ways, let’s understand that God isn’t kidding.

Once we realize what the truth about that holiday is, if we love God we can no longer honor it! We’d be fools! To hold on to a tradition that God has spoken against clearly, no matter how much we have liked it, no matter how “innocent” it seems, would be spiritual death. If we love God, we honor His ways. And for giving worship to God and to Jesus and His Sacrifice for us, we must look at Jesus as he is spoken of in the Bible, our Passover Lamb, and then pay attention to the descriptions of Passover in the Old Testament. We no longer kill a bullock, etc., because Jesus spilled His blood for us once and for all - and that meant that the blood ordinances only applied up to the time of Jesus’ resurrection. But the rest is all good.

I’d like to remind you of what I often say – don’t trust me! Don’t trust any person with what they tell you that the Bible says – instead, go to God’s Word and read it for yourself. Find out what God has really said. He wrote you this letter… He really wants you to read it.

Back to Jeremiah chapter 3:

3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Whore’s forehead – it’s the mark of the beast, in other words these who have “a whore’s forehead” are going to worship the false messiah. They don’t listen, they don’t care, they don’t want to think about it – so when the false one is here on earth pretending to be Jesus, they will worship that false one, because they never knew.

Because they never bothered to find out the truth in God’s word! It’s all there!

Don’t you be like them. God has work for you to do, to plant the seeds of His True Word into the minds of the people you deal with. That’s the reason you are dealing with them, to give them and you the opportunity to plant seeds.

And so when you are before God He will ask you, “did you plant my seeds? Did you plant my true word into others as you went along?” If so, “well done, good and faithful servant!” And you will move into the peaceful and eternal life.

It takes work. There are many, many times throughout the Bible where God says, IF you will do this, then I will do that”. But we read over that big word “IF” and wait around for God to do us favors. It’s not that way. If God says “IF”, we better understand the real promise and our part in it.

We have jobs to do for God. He’ll hand them out as He sees fit, and hopefully we don’t overlook our opportunities.

The “latter rain” is the second rain, the one that lets the seedlings grow and flourish until they are harvested. Are you allowing the “latter rain” to bring forth God’s word from you? It will come forth from you if you allow the growth, the learning, to happen.

The latter rain is the truth of the end times, so that you will not worship the false messiah, but will wait for the true Christ to arrive at the 7th trump. (The false one arrives here on earth at the 6th trump).

These first three verses of Jeremiah 3 have deep meaning, so I will start with verse 4 in my next post. Regarding the above three verses, the description of Passover as God gave it to Moses just prior to the chosen people’s departure from Egypt is in Exodus 12 – and one VERY IMPORTANT point is made by God Himself that precludes the idea that we should not be observing the Passover feast every year of our lives, is in Exodus 12:17 (underline is mine) - And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

Yes, God said for ever…. Shall we ignore that and continue to celebrate Easter? I won’t, but your choice is your choice. Keep in mind that you’ll have to explain to Jesus one day why you wouldn’t celebrate Him as your Passover, but instead rolled eggs to a false fertility goddess, even though you knew. Just sayin’.

May God bless you always. I’m here to help if you have any questions.

Jeremiah - Jeremiah 2 (b)

The book of Jeremiah - chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah chapter 2:20-37 KJV

Jer 2:20 For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.

Christians are going to be here at the end time to speak out against the antichrist, not play the harlot with him.

Jer 2:21 Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?

Christ is the vine, we are the branches, and God is the pruner.

Also, God gave us the parable of the tares – the strange seeds that Satan planted. (Matthew 13:24-30)

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The harvest time is coming and the tares, the bad seed that has grown along with the good seed - you - will be gathered and burned. Don't fall in with the tares!

Jer 2:22 For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.

Nitre is a strong chemical, but we can't wash away our iniquity with it.

Jer 2:23 How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;

You’re like a female camel in heat, chasing after any male that comes along. Nobody can stop these people from their sins.

Jer 2:24 A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.

Talking about how a wild ass can’t be controlled when she is in heat. This is what men do by chasing after the traditions of men and not the word of God.

Our Father puts it very simply so he knows we understand.

Jer 2:25-26

25 Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.

26 As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,

Stop craving those things. Don’t listen to the traditions of men!

Idolatry – don’t do it! Find out what God wants, read His word.

Jer 2:27 Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

Talking to a chunk of wood, or a stone, not to God. They will chase anything that comes along.

They will build a house of God and then worship the house more than they worship God. Then when trouble comes along, they will expect God to arise and save them…

Jer 2:28 But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.

A false god on every corner, and man’s traditions abound. Not just then, but now! We can’t fall the wrong way.

Jer 2:29 Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.

Why beg me to make things right?, God says. I’m not the one who has gone wrong. You’re worshipping the wrong things but then you beg Me to help?

Worship God.

Jer 2:30 In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

Your sword is your tongue, you talk against people who try to reach you, to teach you, and so God can’t teach your children. You are their example but you're not listening! So your children can't learn and will be destroyed also. This is not necessary! Learn what God wants you to know!

Jer 2:31 O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?

Look at the word of God! Or else become your own lord, and don’t turn to the one and only true God. It’s your choice, but as you see here, God isn’t happy about it.

Jer 2:32-33

32 Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

33 Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.

God is saying professional prostitutes could learn from you, because you leave Him out of the equation.

Jer 2:34 Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.

It’s bad to kill a body, but to destroy a soul is worse.

Jer 2:35 Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.

He is saying here, think what you want, but when I judge you according to your sins, whether you think they are sins or not – I will judge you for your sins. Period.

Jer 2:36 Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.

God wants us to depend upon Him, not nations or mankind.

Jer 2:37 Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.

This is a sign of shame.
