The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 7:23-26
KJV (4 verses)
23 But this
thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye
shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that
it may be well unto you.
You can’t walk
in His ways if you don’t understand them! We must know what the whole word of
God says.
If I could put
that comment up in neon lights on a billboard, I would.
When we walk in
His ways, then it will be well with us. That’s a promise from God.
I underlined this verse in hope that some will realize how important it is to know how to obey God, and get this blessing of wellness from Him!
24 But they
hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the
imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.
The counsels
they walk in are the counsels of the scribes, not God’s true word.
“This is so
holy, I like to hear it”, many say, although it is false and spewed forth by
false teachers who don’t care a whit about your soul, only their paychecks and
retirement plans.
We must incline
our ears to God’s word, and go forward, not backward!
25 Since the day
that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even
sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending
them:
God keeps
sending us His servants the prophets (Jeremiah is one of them), God rises up
early and sends them to us.
26 Yet they
hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they
did worse than their fathers.
But we don’t
listen! We harden our hearts and trust in false preachers, over and over again,
when we can read and learn God’s true word, His true desires…in the letter He
sent us.

Jeremiah 7:20-22
KJV (3 verses)
20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out
upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and
upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.
This is future,
obviously this has not happened. There is a time illustrated here – do you know
when this will come to pass? 2 Peter 3 lets us know that the first earth age
was destroyed by water (not Noah’s flood as that did not destroy the whole
earth) and in verse 10 we see that this current earth age in which we are
living will be destroyed by fire.
If we are in
God’s word and not listening to false preachers who say we are going to “fly
away”, we won’t have to worry, we won’t even be singed by that fire.
21 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your
sacrifices, and eat flesh.
God says, “you
keep it, I don’t want it. You can eat those burnt offerings yourself”.
He wants us to
love and obey Him! He commanded us to “obey my voice and I will be your
God”…see verse 23.
22 For I spake
not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of
the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
From Hosea 6:6,
paraphrased – “I don’t want your burnt offerings, I want you to love me and
obey me. I want you to know about me!”
Hosea 6:6 – KJV – “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the KNOWLEDGE of
God more than burnt offerings.”

Jeremiah 7:16-19
KJV (3 verses)
16 Therefore
pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither
make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
The people who
are so stubborn and evil, they try to destroy God’s name in our country, and
God doesn’t even want to hear us pray for them because He is going to destroy
them. Don’t fall in with them, don’t befriend them, don’t even wish them
“Godspeed”…
17 Seest thou
not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18 The children
gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough,
to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other
gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
This is the way
we celebrate Easter, and it’s very wrong. We don’t understand the whole story
and we should. We should be celebrating Jesus’ resurrection at Passover.
He became our
Passover, so when little children carry eggs around at Easter time, they are
participating in a fertility rite to the goddess Eshtare (Ashtertoth in the Old
Testament).
God hates it. He
hates that we don’t understand what we are doing, because we don’t read and
understand His word. This thing is not hidden from us, if only we read and
understand the letter He sent us.
19 Do they
provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the
confusion of their own faces?
They are
completely confused. Honestly, we need to understand that when we celebrate
“Easter”, we provoke HIM to anger, and we provoke ourselves (and our children)
to confusion.
PLEASE, don’t
trust what I am saying here! Read your Bible! The word “Easter” was
mis-translated (perhaps on purpose by those minions who work for Satan)… but
there is plenty of information in the Bible, and in the Strong’s Concordance,
that explain the confusion!
Don’t be okay
with your own ignorance! I didn’t like changing my way of thinking about that
holiday, either… but once I saw the truth, I couldn’t continue celebrating a
pagan holiday any longer.
God doesn’t wink
at ignorance. Don’t stay that way.

Jeremiah 7:12-15
KJV (4 verses)
12 But go ye now
unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see
what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
Shiloh – the
place of rest. What He did to it was to allow the very covenant of the
Tabernacle to be stolen by the Philistines – because of Israel’s sins.
Think of how
this could apply to your life, if you continue not to care about Him… He could
take away every chance you have at redemption!!
All you need to
do is turn and tell God you love Him, and ask for His help in constructing your
life correctly.
13 And now,
because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you,
rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye
answered not;
Our Father calls
us in many ways, nudges us in many ways… we must listen.
If we do, He has
wonderful things for us. Otherwise…
14 Therefore
will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and
unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to
Shiloh.
Don’t trust the
place, “the house”, more than you trust God, or He will leave you.
15 And I will
cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole
seed of Ephraim.
That’s the 10
northern tribes of Israel, see Jer. 3:8 – God divorced them and scattered them
throughout the world. They are “the lost tribes”… but God hasn’t lost them.
Still, He expects them to step up, especially once they realize who they are.
The book of Jeremiah – chapter by chapter and verse by verse
Jeremiah 7:8-11
KJV (4 verses)
8 Behold, ye
trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
There is no way
you will get ahead by trusting in lying words – God will make sure of it.
You’re supposed
to have God’s word as your ministry.
9 Will ye steal,
murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and
walk after other gods whom ye know not;
10 And come and
stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are
delivered to do all these abominations?
We can’t think
that our sins are okay, and try to tell God we are delivered anyway.
We must repent.
Not always easy. But, we need to get tough.
11 Is this
house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes?
Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.
False worship,
and God sees it. He hates it. We can change and do the right things. Again, it’s
not always easy. BUT… repentance and endurance makes us strong… and better people.
The kind of people God wants in His ministry. J

Jeremiah 7:5-7
KJV (3 verses)
5 For if
ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute
judgment between a man and his neighbour;
Important to
notice the “if” and “Then” in these three verses. “If” we do these things, “Then”
we will get the blessing, for ever and ever.
6 If ye
oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent
blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:
“other gods” –
the false Christ, as well as the rapture – not true. If you worship the first
one saying he is Jesus who arrives on the earth at the end time, you will be lost.
He’s good… the master of deceit…you need to be sure of what the real word of
God says.
Not so you can “fly
away”, but as Paul states in Ephesians 6:13, “to stand”.
7 Then
will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your
fathers, for ever and ever.
Our Heavenly
Father made an eternal covenant with this place…
He will keep His
promise to bring us into that land, “if”.
